Supervision
Are you interested in IFS but haven't gotten into Level 1 Training or just aren't sure yet if it is the model for you?
Are you recently Level 1 trained but feeling unsure, 'forgetting the steps' or struggling with how to make the transition?
If these questions resonate with you, I offer supervision (consultation) to help clarify the model and teach what needs deeper understanding. I provide individual and group consultation to develop your knowledge of the model and provide opportunities to practice the skills. This group is not for those seeking IFS certification.
I am an approved clinical supervisor in DC and MD. I began supervising social work interns in 1997 and absolutely cherished helping them learn and discover more about themselves and their clients. Throughout my career I have helped many new graduates obtain their highest clinical license and develop their own careers.
Once groups start, they are closed until the next rotation opens up.
After 30 years in the field of social work as a clinician, supervisor and executive leader, I have a wealth of knowledge to share and experience to draw from. You may look at the rest of this website to learn more about me and my specialties but as a quick reference my expertise lies in: LGBTQ people, anti-oppression work, trauma, IFS, working in organizations (at all levels from direct care Social Worker to Director) and running a private practice (taking insurance then transitioning to OON).
